Invite team members
Planning is rarely a solo job. Invite the people helping you, and stop forwarding screenshots.
Organisations
Your events live inside an organisation, created for you the first time you signed in. Inviting someone into it gives them access to its events — not to your account, and not to any other organisation you belong to. If you belong to more than one, an organisation switcher appears so you can move between them.
Inviting someone
Open the Team page. Type the person's email address and send the invitation. They receive an email with a link, and the Team page lists the invitation as pending until it is used. You can revoke a pending invitation at any time.
Opening the link does not join them automatically — they have to press a button on the page. That is on purpose: corporate mail scanners click every link in an incoming message, and without that button they would join your organisation on your invitee's behalf before the person had even read the email.
The two roles
| Can they… | Owner | Member |
|---|---|---|
| Create and edit events | Yes | Yes |
| Manage guests, send messages, check in | Yes | Yes |
| Delete an event | Yes | No |
| Purge guest data | Yes | No |
| Edit the privacy policy | Yes | No |
| Invite, remove and manage the team | Yes | No |
| Manage billing | Yes | No |
The restrictions are enforced on the server, not merely hidden in the interface. A member cannot delete an event by finding a clever URL.
Removing someone, and leaving
An owner can remove any member from the Team page. Any member can leave an organisation themselves. Removing someone does not touch the events they created — those belong to the organisation, not to the person.
How many seats
Team members are part of the Pro Team plan: you plus two others. See plans and billing.
